River Flooding and Cross Boarder Cooperation: Evros Case Study

This study aims to give a brief and accurate picture of the problem of flooding in the Evros river, a river with transboundary features. The work in the first place refers to the geographical features of the river and generally the hydrological basin and administrative structure of the regions crossed. Also described construction interventions that have taken place in GREEK territorial area. In second place presents the recent history of the river flood and solutions and proposals to address the flooding phenomenon such as those resulting from findings in the management of the phenomenon and studies.
